Ghost Dance is a gothic rock and post-punk band from Britain, founded in 1985 by Gary Marx (formerly of Sisters of Mercy) and Anne-Marie Hurst (former vocalist of Skeletal Family) as they departed from their previous bands. Initially signed to Karbon Records, owned by Nick Jones, they later inked a deal with Chrysalis Records before disbanding in 1989. The group reunited in 2019, with Hurst joined by new members Tim Walker on guitar, Stephen Derrig on guitar, Phil Noble on bass, and Dave Wood on drums, and they began working on fresh material. This led to reunion shows in the UK and a new album set for release in 2022 through Voltage Records.
