Yo Gotti is an American rapper from Memphis whose stage name is derived from the notorious mafia boss, John Gotti. Although, Yo Gotti has been performing since the 1990s, he started releasing records in 2000. In 2003, he signed his first record deal through which he released his album Life. By contributing his song "Full Time" to the soundtrack of Hustle & Flow, Yo Gotti reached a wider audience, and gained international recognition.
