About
Founded in 1980 when the Alacranes de Durango moved to Campeche, Piratas de Campeche is a Triple-A Minor League Baseball team and competes in the Southern Division of the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol. Playing its home games at the Estadio Nelson Barrera, it has been crowned league champions twice in its history, with both titles being achieved under the managerial influence of Francisco Estrada.
