FreeSol is an alternative soul band hailing from Memphis, Tennessee. Their name symbolizes a mindset of free expression, aiming to break away from conventional norms. Combining elements of rock, hip-hop, rhythm and blues, and soul, their music exhibits a diverse range of influences, including Three 6 Mafia, Outkast, Coldplay, and more. After forming in 2003, they released their first album "11:11" in 2004, produced by Carlos "6 July" Broady. Justin Timberlake, impressed by their performance, signed them to his Tennman Records and helped them secure a deal with Interscope Records. They collaborated with various producers to create their debut album "No Rules," scheduled for release in October 2011, featuring tracks like "Hoodies On, Hats Low" and "Role Model," with Timberlake making appearances.
