Frank Potenza, an esteemed Capri recording artist and educator, has established himself as a prominent figure in the jazz world. A protege of the legendary Joe Pass, he is a versatile performer, composer, and arranger, boasting an impressive discography of ten solo albums. Throughout his career, Frank has collaborated with esteemed jazz luminaries such as Dizzy Gillespie, George Van Eps, and Mose Allison. From 1996 to 2000, he toured and recorded with the Gene Harris Quartet, leaving a lasting mark on Gene's final recording. As a soloist and leader of his trios and quartets, Frank continues to captivate audiences, both in solo concerts and as a guest performer with big bands. Furthermore, he serves as a respected full Professor in the Studio/Jazz Guitar program at the Flora L. Thornton School of Music, University of Southern California, holding degrees from the Berklee College of Music and California State University, Los Angeles.
