The 4onthefloor derives it name from the fact they have not one but four bass drums that creates a powerful driving rhythm. The Minneapolis quartet are inspired by the sounds of Delta Blues and Americana past infused with roadhouse rock. Each member plays various instruments and each plays his own bass drum. The pulse of four drums creates a collective energy that that comes alive at their shows that the audience members can feel a part of.
