The Foret family name carries a rich musical tradition, and the brand of Foret Tradition was established in 1992 in Westwego, Louisiana. Originally a two-piece band led by Ryan and Brandon Foret, they grew from backyard performances to playing in clubs and dancehalls across the Westbank. Hurricane Katrina in 2005 prompted Ryan to seek out new venues and expand the band's reach, becoming a face of the younger generation of Swamp Pop. Despite Brandon briefly leaving the band in 2007, they continued to collaborate, releasing the iconic album "Tee Nah Nah." With ten studio records and one live album, Ryan continues to create high-energy and irresistible Swamp Pop music, and Brandon rejoined the band in 2019, adding his impressive musicianship and captivating showmanship to the mix.
