The Moody Blues is a British rock band that is considered one of the leading symphonic rock bands in its genre. Even though the members have played together in various constellations, The Moody Blues was formed in 1964. From 1973 to 1978, the band was on hiatus, and The Moody Blues members tried to become solo artists. During that time, however, they continued to record albums together until they decided to re-band.
