Fabulous Thunderbirds is a blues rock band from Austin, Texas that has been active since the mid-1970s. Using elements of both Texas blues and swamp blues, the band helped bridge the gap between modern and traditional blues audiences with its debut album,Girls Go Wild, in 1979. Though the group has seen more than its fair share of lineup changes since then, the Fabulous Thunderbirds continues to build its extensive discography.
