ESCARIOKA is a border-crossing multicultural tropical punk rock orchestra from NYC. They blend various styles such as cumbia, balkan, salsa, hardcore, dub, and psychedelic gypsy raggamuffin boleros, creating a flavorful New York Latin band. Founded by brothers Flako (vocals) and Pala (bass), originally from Mendoza, Argentina, Escarioka's mission is to host a multicultural immigrant beat party with lyrics of hope and survival against hypocrisy and hatred. Renowned for wild underground performances and for supporting international and Latin American veterans such as Chico Trujillo, Todos Tus Muertos, Los Destellos, Gogol Bordello, Aterciopelados, El Gran Silencio, Desorden Publico, Fermin Muguruza, Ska-P, Gondwana, and many more. Escarioka's new 2019 EP "Tiempos" is out now on Maximum Collabo records, the follow up to 2018's "Pachahuaska". Their first album 'Factor Sabor" was released on Mehanata Records in 2012.
