Ernie Isley is an esteemed American musician best known as a member of the legendary musical ensemble, The Isley Brothers, and the splinter group Isley-Jasper-Isley. He was influenced by music from a young age and became a self-taught multi-instrumentalist. As a member of The Isley Brothers, Ernie contributed his immense talents as a guitarist, bassist, drummer, and songwriter, creating iconic hits like "Fight the Power," "That Lady," and "Voyage to Atlantis." He has had a successful solo career and collaborated with renowned artists such as Janet Jackson and Carlos Santana. Ernie's outstanding contributions to music earned him induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and other prestigious accolades. Today, he continues to perform and inspire as a musical mentor and lecturer at Berklee School of Music.
