Elizabeth Cook is a Florida-born country singer who came to attention at the Grand Ole Opry in 2000. The same year she released The Blue Album, her debut LP, which elevated her as a country music sweetheart. Throughout the years, with 2007's Balls, and 2010's Welder, she maintained her devoted following among honky tonk communities and finally broke through to mainstream audiences with an appearance on the Late Night With David Letterman in 2012. She's since been hailed as a innovative traditionalist, who continues to surprise on records like 2016's Exodus of Venus.
