About
A professional opera company, the Edmonton Opera has been staging theatrical performances since its founding in 1963. Its first season featured Madama Butterfly, Pagliacci and Cavalleria Rusticana. It has since added Salome, Die Fledermaus, Of Mice and Men, Weil in Weimer, Filumena, Bluebeard'd Castle and Lilies to its repertoire. The company performs in the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auitorium in Edmonton.
