Houndmouth is an indie band from New Albany, Indiana, that creates an accessible fusion of folk and rock elements. Though the band started out in 2011 as the project of Katie Toupin and Matt Myers, the duo quickly evolved into a four-piece outfit and released its eponymous debut EP in 2012. With an infectious sound powered by dual female-male vocals and buoyant, half-time beats, Houndmouth dropped its debut full-length album, From the Hills Below the City, in 2013.
