Elisa Toffoli is a singer from Molfalcone, Italy. Unlike many of her colleagues, she decided to write and sing in English instead of in her mother tongue. In 1997, Elisa released her debut album Pipes & Flowers. In 2005 and 2006, she collaborated twice with Tina Turner to record the non-album tracks "Swan" and "Teach Me Again." She went on to produce songs for Alanis Morissette's debut album Jagged Little Pill and also for other artists, such as Anastacia, Michael Jackson, Christina Aguilera, and Shakira.
