Zorán was born in 1942 in Belgrad, Serbia. He moved to Budapest in 1960 to attend the Budapest Technical University, and he started his musical career at the same time. Zorán is one of Hungary's greatest singer/songwriters, whose main influence is Leonard Cohen.
