Donald Fagen

Donald Fagen is a singer/songwriter and pianist who is probably best known as co-founder and lead singer of the popular band Steely Dan. Originally from Passaic, New Jersey, Fagen would go on to found Steely Dan with guitarist Walter Becker in 1970. The group would go on to laud over the 1970s with a unique sound that blended intelligent jazz instrumental approaches within the confines of extremely palatable pop songs. Fagen would release his debut solo album, The Nightfly, in 1982 and since then he has kept active, releasing additional LPs, touring semi regularly, in addition to serving his duties with Steely Dan.
