Dmitry Sitkovetsky is a Russian-born classical violinist and conductor. He is renowned for his interpretations of the works of Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky, among others. He has released several albums, including his debut album, Dmitry Sitkovetsky Plays Bach, which was released in 1989. He has also released albums of works by Beethoven, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky, as well as a recording of the complete works of Bach for violin and piano. Sitkovetsky has performed with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has also conducted the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. Sitkovetsky has been awarded numerous honors, including the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, the Order of Friendship, and the Order of Honour. He is a professor at the Moscow Conservatory and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
