Dikki Du, also known as Troy Carrier, was born in Church Point, Louisiana in 1969 and developed a deep love for zydeco music at a young age. Growing up, he played alongside his father Roy and siblings Chubby and Elaine, immersing himself in the vibrant zydeco scene. After joining forces with renowned artist C.J. Chenier, Troy returned home and transitioned from playing the drums to mastering the accordion. For the past twelve years, Dikki Du and the Zydeco Krewe have been captivating audiences with their innovative and funky zydeco style.
