Melvin Howell, also known by the stage name Ambush, is a hip-hop and rapper from Long Island, NY. With a knack for freestyling, Ambush gained his following by MCing house parties. During a European tour with DJ Chuckie, he began offering annual 8-week rap classes in The Hague to Dutch kids that showcased their skills each year at the Haag Hip-Hop Festival. Since his 2000 debut, The Dirty EP, Ambush has released a steady flow of singles and has collaborated with artists such as Ciara, DMX, and Eric Santana.
