Dez Cadena is an American punk rock musician and singer-songwriter. He is best known for his work with the hardcore punk band Black Flag, for whom he served as vocalist and guitarist from 1979 to 1983. He has also been a member of the bands Misfits, DC3, and Flag. Cadena's music career began in the late 1970s, when he joined Black Flag as a vocalist and guitarist. He was a key member of the band during their early years, and his distinctive vocal style and guitar playing helped to define the sound of the band. After leaving Black Flag, Cadena went on to form the band DC3, and later joined the Misfits. He has also released several solo albums, including Dez Cadena (1984), The Good, the Bad, and the Dez (1986), and The Dez Cadena Show (1989). Throughout his career, Cadena has remained true to his punk rock roots, and his music continues to be a powerful influence on the punk rock scene.
