Dethklok is an American virtual death metal band from the Adult Swim animated series Metalocalypse. The band is composed of five members: Nathan Explosion, Skwisgaar Skwigelf, Toki Wartooth, William Murderface, and Pickles. The band's music is composed and produced by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha. The band has released four studio albums, The Dethalbum, Dethalbum II, Dethalbum III, and The Doomstar Requiem, as well as a live album, Dethklok: The Dethalbum Live. Dethklok's music is characterized by aggressive, fast-paced death metal, often with dark and humorous lyrics. The band has been praised for its musicianship and technical proficiency, and has been compared to bands such as Cannibal Corpse and Behemoth. The band has also been featured in various video games, including Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and Rock Band 3.
