Desirée Ruhstrat is a highly acclaimed violinist whose artistry has captivated audiences in Europe and the Americas. She has performed as a soloist with prestigious orchestras worldwide and collaborated with renowned conductors. Ruhstrat's career as a chamber musician has included performances at notable venues, and she is known for her championing of new music. A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Ruhstrat is also a passionate teacher and has mentored prizewinning students who have gone on to join professional orchestras. She currently serves as adjunct faculty at the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University Bloomington.
