Del McCoury is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter and musician who is rooted in bluegrass traditions. He rose to attention after he and his own long-time outfit Del McCoury Band recorded with Steve Earle on the 1999 album, The Mountain. Since then, McCoury has incorporated more jam band stylings into his music as he continues to tour solo as a solo musician as well as with the Del McCoury Band.
