Debi Smith is a talented American folk singer-songwriter who has made significant contributions to the music industry. After graduating from The College of Wooster and busking in San Francisco, she began her career as a soloist and later joined the all-female Celtic group, The Hags, where she started playing the bodhrán. In collaboration with her sister Megan Smith, she formed The Smith Sisters and released five albums together. Debi went on to release her first solo album, "In My Dreams," and has since released six more solo albums. She is a member of the acclaimed group Four Bitchin' Babes and has been recognized with Grammy nominations and multiple Wammie awards. Debi has appeared on various notable platforms, including Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion, and has performed at renowned venues across the United States and even in Russia. In addition to her musical achievements, she has contributed to literature by co-editing the book "Look Up at The Hawks" and being featured in Random House's "Life's a Stitch."
