David Bromberg is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who has traversed the musical landscapes of blues, bluegrass, folk, country and rock n' roll. Renowned for his often humorous lyrics and his affinity for playing both rhythm and lead guitar at the same time, he dropped his eponymous debut solo album in 1972, and has since built his reputation as an ardent guitarist through both his solo work and his collaborations. With an extensive catalog of records, he is also known for having contributed to numerous albums for other artists, most notably Jerry Jeff Walker and Bob Dylan.
