A modern-day crossover of opera and cabaret, Lorelei is about chauvinism and patriarchy that still exists in society. The three titular characters, the Lorelei, perched atop rocks sing and seduce the sailors and men on the ships that pass them only to send them to their doom. This genre-defying piece has won several well-deserved laurels.
