Dana Carvey is a stand-up comedian and actor from Missoula, Montana who is perhaps best known for his groundbreaking work on NBC's Saturday Night Live, for which he won an Emmy for "Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety or Music Program" at the height of his popularity in 1993. However, like many comedians who wind up obtaining mainstream popularity on television, little is known by the public-at-large about Carvey's spectacular talents as a stand-up comedian.
