Cuquin Victoria

Dominican comedian Cuquin Victoria is considered to be amongst the best comic talents in the country. Born César Augusto Victoria Suazo in Santo Domingo, he studied civil engineering at the Universidad Central del Este, before embarking on a career in comedy. He was brought on board the show En la prensa by Milton Peláez and Freddy Beras in the mid-1970s. The trio also teamed up to host the radio show titled El show de noticias. However, it was upon joining the cast of the legendary show El Show del Mediodía that his career switched gears. There has been no looking back for Victoria ever since. He has acted in films like Negocios son negocios, Yuniol, Mi novia está de madre, Playball, 3 al rescate and Los Paracaidistas, to name a few, and in the plays Glorious, Hairspray and El búho y la gatita. His original shows include Tres por tres, Freddy y Cuquín 86-90, Muy criollo and Humor Unplugged.
