In Kansas City, Cover Wars is the ultimate battle of the bands competition that features Kansas and Missouri's premier cover bands. Each band is granted a 25-minute set to play cover material of its choice and the chance to win the grand prize of 500 dollars in cash, 36 band t-shirts from Brown Bear Printing, a Cover Wars Trophy and a Friday night show at Harrah's VooDoo Lounge. The competition includes a semi-final and final round, during which the audience and judges split the vote 50-50.
