About
Founded in 1923, Hapoel Tel Aviv F.C. disbanded and reformed quite a few times only to finally merge with Allenby F.C. in 1927 to produce the club in its current form. The club made a quick impact on the domestic level, after winning the State Cup for the first time in 1928 and the national league championship in 1933. It only got better as the years went by and was soon making its mark in continental tournaments.
