Based in Brooklyn, Chris Mills is a singer/songwriter who first emerged out of Chicago in the mid-1990s with an alternative country sound. In the decade after Mills released his 2000 debut album Kiss It Goodbye, his sound evolved into an Americana-drenched fusion of orchestral pop and indie rock. He has since earned a widespread following with his distinctive style and various records, including 2011's, The Heavy Years 2000-2010.
