With just two years of working as a full-time musician under her belt, acoustic songstress Hannah Georgas had already made her presence known in her native Canada, thanks to some light and lovable indie-pop tunes. This is Good, her debut album, was on the list of contenders for the coveted Polaris Music Prize in 2010 and a year prior, Georgas was commissioned to write the jingle for a Wal-Mart advertising campaign. Tracks like "The Beat Stuff" show her affinity for framing her acoustic folk influences in the context of modern and peppy pop trends.
