Chely Wright is a country singer/songwriter from Kansas City, Missouri who received lauded acclaim after releasing her debut album when the Academy of Country Music dubbed her the Top New Female Vocalist in 1995. Having since kept busy over the years by releasing additional well-recieved albums and touring regularly, Wright has also written songs for some of the biggest names on the country music scene including Brad Paisley, Richard Marx and Clay Walker.
