Bródy János is one of the main musical figures of the 20th Century in Hungary. He gained fame as a member of the Illés rock band, and quickly proved himself as a talented singer and composer. János used his music to express his complicated viewpoints, many of which could not outrightly expressed in the Communist Hungarian system.
