Carolina Railhawks

The Carolina Railhawks was a professional soccer team based out of Cary, North Carolina that competed in the North American Soccer League. Founded in 2006, the team managed to assert itself in gameplay and establish heated rivalries with a number of teams, including the Charleston Battery, the Atlanta Silverbacks and the Rochester Rhinos. Having competed in its league's finals tournaments several times, the Railhawks was one of the more formidable soccer teams in the south.
