Gankino Circus comprises childhood friends Ralf Wieland, Simon Schorndanner, Maximilian Eder and Johannes Sens. The band hails from a small German town named Dietenhofen. Tired of the misrepresentation of German folk music the band set out to set things right by making and producing its own music. The band formed in 2007 and initially performed on the streets only to quickly rise to fame. Gankino Circus released its debut album The Potpourri Of Mr. Baron Von Gunzenhausen in 2010. The band has released several albums since then.
