Győri ETO FC was formed in Győr, Hungary in 1904 and boasts an interesting history. Its initial years in the game were spent in the lower leagues. It made its way to the Hungarian First Division for the first time 1937, but this was a new frontier for the club and it couldn’t handle the competition. But the team continued to play well and son bounced back into the top flight. Through this entire journey, it has achieved the Nemzeti Bajnokság I title many times and also managed to win numerous Hungarian Cup finals. The club can be seen playing its home games at the ETO Park.
