Caravan of Thieves is a Bridgeport, Connecticut-based Gypsy folk band that started out as a duo in 2008. Living their bohemian dream, husband and wife pair Fuzz and Carrie Sangiovanni were traveling around the US making music together when they encountered violinist Ben Dean and bassist Brian Anderson. As a four-piece unit, Caravan of Thieves released its debut album Bouquet, in 2009. As the band continued to developed its sound, it began incorporating more instruments, including banjos, ukuleles and resonator guitars, for added layers of twang and grit, until it was noticed by the record label Untied for Opportunity. Caravan of Thieves dropped its third LP, The Funhouse, with the imprint in 2012.
