Cannons and Clouds

Cannons and Clouds is a rock and roll outfit that owns a sound it describes as indie post-rock. Based in San Francisco, the band released its debut album After All, in 2010 with a straightforward indie rock sound before diving into its more psychedelically-inclined compositions of its later work. Harnessing a rich, layered sound driven by lush harmonies and steady, complex rhythms, Cannons and Clouds released its EP, June, in 2011, and has since continued to explore its own sonic boundaries.
