The Buffalo Bandits is an American lacrosse team that competes in the Eastern Division of the National Lacrosse League. Founded in 1991, the franchise was originally a member of the Major Indoor Lacrosse League, until it changed to the NLL in 1998. Buffalo claimed the league championship in its premier season in 1992, making it the first expansion team in the NLL to do so. The Bandits hosts it home matches at the First Niagara Center in downtown Buffalo, New York.
