This minor league ice hockey team based out of Bridgeport, Connecticut competes in the American Hockey League's Eastern Conference. Founded in 2001, they are an affiliate team of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders. The team won the conference championship during its inaugural season in 2001, and they play at the Webster Bank Arena sporting the colors of their parent club which are orange, blue and white.
