Dry Cleaning first emerged on the post-punk scene in 2018 with the album Magic of Meghan. The band's members - London-based Florence Shaw, Lewis Maynard, Tom Dowse and Nick Buxton - first started out playing instrumental post-punk. Its first EP, the six-track Sweet Princess, was released in August 2019, followed by Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks later that year. Through these records, the band has given the world gems like "Viking Hair," "Magic of Meghan," "Goodnight," "Sit Down Meal," "New Job" and "Dog Proposal."
