Bob Nelson is an American actor and stand-up comedian. A native of Massapequa, NY, he started his career in the 1970s. Doors opened for him as he gained a foothold in the industry and he got the opportunity to open for legendary stand-up comic Rodney Dangerfield for close to a decade. Over the course of his career, he has worked alongside stalwarts like Jerry Seinfeld, Roseanne Barr and Bob Saget, and collaborated with Eddie Murphy, famous TV personalities Johnny Carson and David Letterman. His clean comedy, and original characters like pugilist Jiffy Jeff and chicken farmer Wilby Stuckerson have won him a loyal fanbase. He has also dabbled in acting and worked with the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
