While Denver-based band Big Trouble had a rough time solidifying its lineup, experiencing multiple alterations in its first year of existence, by 2011 the group became a fairly solid trio and released its debut EP. With music that revolves around classic pop punk themes, like "high school, bubblegum, girlfriends and pimples," Big Trouble manages to be nostalgic and snotty at the same time. The band's music evidently strives to emulate the attitude of teenage years and thus creates carefree bubblegum punk that has found a niche audience throughout Colorado.
