Benvenue formed in 2004 when Francis Blay and Sid Slater began writing songs together while attending UC Berkeley. After graduation, they relocated to Los Angeles, and the band officially solidified in 2008 with the addition of Erik Robertson and Moon. Self-described as modern alternative melodic hard rock, Benvenue blends staggering riffs, soaring melodies, and hard-hitting grooves to create a powerful and unique sound. Drawing influences from bands like Incubus and Rage Against the Machine, they infuse their music with a political edge. The band values their connection with fans and delivers high-energy live performances. Despite a brief hiatus, Benvenue's music continues to resonate with listeners worldwide, and they remain dedicated to their craft.
