Bardo Pond is a Philadelphia-based outfit that has been creating a distinct fusion of space rock and shoegaze since its formation in 1991. With droning guitars, heavy distortion and thick washes of reverb, the group captured its noise-infused psychedelic sound on its debut album, Bufo Alvarius, Amen 29:15, in 1995. The band has since been cultivating a dedicated following among psychedelic rock fans across the world with each of its subsequent releases. Bardo Pond dropped its ninth studio album, Peace on Venus, with Fire Records in 2013.
