Written by Stephen Schwartz and John-Michael Tebelak, Godspell is a musical based on various Biblical stories about Jesus. With themes of religion, philosophy, love and faith at its heart, the production recreates the Gospel of Saint Matthew and combines contemporary music with the lyrics of traditional hymns including "All Good Gifts," "Light the World," and "Day by Day."
