Ballet Kelowna is a dance company dedicated to the fusion of contemporary and classical ballet styles. Based in Kelowna, a city in the southern region of British Columbia, the ballet company is one of ten professional ballet companies in Canada. With a select six full-time dancers led by Artistic Director David LaHay, Ballet Kelowna aspires to inspire, educate and entertain through the art of ballet. By integrating diverse programs packed with contemporary dancers and up and coming choreographers, the company seeks to reveal a more inviting and fun side to the classic ballet experience.
