Founded in 1986, Ballet BC is a professional dance company that focuses on contemporary ballet. With a select group of 18 dancers, the company has developed a world-wide reputation for offering a distinctive, innovative and interactive style of dance that has contributed to the development of ballet as an art form. In addition to its extensive touring regimen, Ballet BC performs regularly at Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Theatre and offers both outreach and educational programs for the British Columbia community.
